JV-Relatives - Joomla Related Items Plugin for MyBlog Blogging Component

JV-Relatives, one of the flagship products at JV-Extensions is a Joomla plugin that displays related articles and items for Joomla articles. On December 28th 2008, JV-Extensions released a new version of JV-Relatives (v2.6.0) for Joomla 1.5. A significant feature introduced in this version is it's ability to display related articles and blog posts, for content managed using MyBlog, the popular blogging extension from Azrul.This feature enables related articles to be displayed for myBlog posts and also enables myBlog posts to be included in the related articles results of other articles. As JV-Relatives displays related articles by scanning for matching keywords of articles, the relevancy of the displayed article increases and thus results in the user picking up more articles for reading on your site

Winter has arrived in some of your homes and it's always so much delight to see the snowflakes falling especially on Christmas. Here in the tropics, we have to make do with 'experiencing' a white Christmas just switching on the telly. Anyway, Christmas is a time of joy, happiness and sharing. Back from Denver and Jom Social Progress

It’s back to work for Azrul and me here at The Office. After almost a week in Denver for the CMS Expo where Azrul gave two insightful talks on Joomla, we’re back in the office coding and answering support. Our latest addition to our family, Jom Social is taking shape real nicely and will soon be added to this site. Jom Social is only available at Jomsocial.com at the moment. Although you haven’t seen many new features added to Jom Social YET, we are first prioritizing to smooth out the bugs FIRST. We will add those much needed features to Jom Social very, very soon, and if you have a say on what should be added… use our Uservoice. Of course, with Jom Social going on, we will not neglect our other extensions like My Blog and Jom Comment. MB and JC have their update plans too and we’re working towards our 2009 resolutions for all our components. Stay tuned!The End is Near
