Why are there weird characters are appearing in the translations? |

The reason that you might get a weird character or text after editing the translation file is most likely because you have saved the file as a non UTF-8 encoded file. By default, Jom Comment expects that the translation files are encoded in UTF-8 Format. Therefore, you would need to re-edit the file with a proper editor which would support UTF-8. Otherwise, it is also highly advisable to edit the language file from Jom Comment's administration section under the "Edit Language" option.
