What's happening with the rebuild of my website?

I purchased and installed Jom Comment on my website which is critical for the operation of my business. The day before the website was scheduled to launch, my website went down. After spending an entire day along with my hosting company trying to figure out why, we figured out it that the problem was caused by Jom Comment. The Jom Comments developer promised to rebuild the website and has restored some sections but it is now almost a week later and it is not finished. What's happening?
