My Blog 3.0 coming up sir!

Hi guys, Merry Christmas and A Big Happy New Year 2009 to all of you! ;) It's the first day of 2009 and I am currently working on My Blog 3.0 right now. Most of the files / folder structures are now using the Joomla 1.5 format. After restructuring these, adding new features will be much faster / easier as we only need to cater / test for Joomla 1.5. Apart from the file / folder structure changes, codes are restructured massively as well. Which also means that you'll see better / more menu lin [...]

Nicetalk 1.0 ;)

Most of you may have noticed that we have recently just released a new component, JomSocial. If you still have not heard about it yet, it is actually a social networking that sits on top of Joomla!. If you want to read more about it, just head on to JomSocial's website . I have personally received a couple of queries on whether the developments of our other components will be halted and the answer is a BIG NO.

We have been working on Nice Talk 1.0 right now and still undergoing s [...]

My Blog 2.0.1 & Jom Comment 3.0.1 Released

We have recently released My Blog 2.0.1 and Jom Comment 3.0.1 which includes pretty much of bug fixes since the initial beta release. Some of you might have been wondering why are there more bug fixes as opposed to new features. The main reason is because we are actually modifying the structure of both these components to have backward compatibilities where they both work on Joomla 1.0 and Joomla 1.5 with the same set of codes.

After making these structural changes, we should see some [...]

Automatic Drafting? What do you think?

Recently, I was trying to write a blog entry here via My Blog and all of a sudden Firefox decided to CRASH itself @.@ and I can't restore the previous session for some reason. It's really a PITA when I have to re-write the blog entries :(

I think My Blog should have an auto drafting feature where it allows a blog entry to be automatically saved while you are typing or maybe when there is an idle activity of 5 seconds.

What do you think? Maybe it's just me being [...]

Network connectivity issues to http://support.azrul.com

Recently, we have noticed that there are a couple of users who are actually unable to connect to our support desk located at http://support.azrul.com . While we are trying to rectify the issues with our upstream Internet Service Provider, it is actually quite difficult for us to locate the bottlenecks since most of us are able to access the site.

Nevertheless, if you do fall into the above, you would still be able to access our support forums at http://forum.azrul.com and any emai [...]

My Blog beta v1.0 build 75 released!

Some of you may have noticed or even received an email by Azrul himself about the beta version of My Blog which was recently released in the forums.

We did receive many complaints previously about the integrations of My Blog and the Joomla! site where quite a number of users simply want us to drop the "Lightbox / Thickbox" feature. Therefore, we have made the decision to strip out the "Lightbox / Thickbox" feature and instead insert our own little editor window. A [...]

Yes everyone, Jom Comment support for Joomla!1.5 RC3 is coming. We recently noticed that there has been an ongoing rumors about Jom Comment not going to be able to support the all new Joomla!1.5 .

I would like to assure everyone that our new releases will definitely be releasing an update soon alongwith our all new Jom Comment version 2.0 which will include a much richer interface, many more functionalities and also the support for Joomla! 1.5

User's that are awaiting for the [...]
