My Blog beta v1.0 build 75 released!

Some of you may have noticed or even received an email by Azrul himself about the beta version of My Blog which was recently released in the forums.

We did receive many complaints previously about the integrations of My Blog and the Joomla! site where quite a number ofusers simply want us to drop the "Lightbox / Thickbox" feature. Therefore, we have made the decision to strip out the "Lightbox / Thickbox" feature and instead insert our own little editor window. Apart from the window changes, the blogging tool now comes with an elegant design and much richer user interface. ;)

Along with the beta versions, a video mambot/plugin for My Blog is now available automatically. The documentations / how-to will come shortly.

More features to come as My Blog matures..

Yes, we are actually in the midst of considering this feature and it may be included in future version of My Blogs smilies/wink.gif

If you do have any more suggestions, you could always send it to us via our support forums or helpdesk.

Will my Blog 1.0 be 1.5 compatible from the start - or will you just be cencentrating on perfecting for the joomla 1.0 and then later, after the GA release of joomla 1.5 make the adjustments ?

Is this 1.5 compatible? If not when will this happen? At this point I don't think there is any blog feature that integrates with community builder that is 1.5 compatible.

What is the difference between these 2 products? At first glance, My Blog seems to be more feature rich than JomComment. Is there a reason to have Jom Comment or both products at th same time?

- ability to use different "joomla" editors including the choice of NOT using an editor at all but enter html code!
- better picture management. Currently its not possible to overwrite or delete pictures!
