As I am sure all of you are aware, Joomla 1.5 is now released as stable. With this milestone in place, Azrul.com is happy to announce that we are now in the final stages of Joomla 1.5 compatible release for both our Jom Comment and My Blog component!

You can expect to enjoy the elegence of our Jom Comment component in Joomla 1.5 and blog away with our My Blog component on your brand spanking new Joomla 1.5 sites in the coming weeks.

Furthermore, Joomla 1.5 compatibility for Jom Comment and My Blog will be native. Which means you do not need to turn on Joomla's legacy mode to run them in Joomla 1.5. This will ensure better performance as My Blog and Jom Comment will work seamlessly with Joomla 1.5 and will not have to rely on the legacy plug-in. This is another reason we are taking our time as we want both Jom Comment and MyBlog to be true Joomla 1.5 components, instead of just another simple legacy hack.

We do appreciate all the feedbacks and support that we have received from you, especially the brave adventurers who have tested our components on Joomla 1.5.

We know that a lot of you has been raising some ruckus about this and we would like to assure all of you that we are comitted to this and will release a Joomla 1.5 compatible Jom comment and Myblog, Nice Talk will follow shortly after. 	As welcoming as this announcement is the point "not just another legacy hack" i think its perhaps the wrong choice of words. Legacy mode is nothing all that bad and a minor increase in memory usage.
