With the release of Joomla 1.5 RC4, Joomla 1.5 inches closer towards its stable release. Azrul Studio is happy to announce to all that the latest release of its Jom Comment commenting system component is now compatible with Joomla 1.5 RC4! The trick is to turn on Joomla 1.5 RC4's "Joomla 1.0 Legacy mode" in the plugin manager in the back end and THEN install Jom Comment. After this is done you can turn off Joomla 1.5 RC4's "Joomla 1.0 legacy mode" and enjoy Jom Comment's ease and elegance in Joomla 1.5 RC4. Enjoy the ride! However we would like to remind our users that Compatibility with Joomla 1.5 RC4 for Jom Comment is still in beta. Issues will crop up from time to time as we all strive to adapt to the changing face of Joomla. As Joomla 1.5 matures, we will continue to work to implement Joomla 1.5 compatibility with each new release of Jom Comment but we advise our users to stick to the stable release first as we will not be providing support for Joomla 1.5 compatibility until Joomla 1.5 itself is stable. Until then, we wish those adventurers out there to enjoy Jom Comment's compatibility with Joomla 1.5 RC4! We would also like to ask for your help in this issue. To the explorers who are set to experience Jom Comment's commenting component in Joomla 1.5 RC4, please do drop us a line telling us about your experience and any issues that crop up so that we can all work together in getting Jom Comment truly Joomla 1.5 compatible. We do appreciate your support and we value your input!

Quotes and formatting seem buggy The formatting markup gets inserted at the end of the text, not around the selected text Thats kinda a pain but other than that, great stuff! |

Hello, I am having a hard time seeing my typing. I had better get some new spectacles soon, if I am going to become a blogger. These old fingers don't do so well typing these days. It is also difficult to drive my old car, too! Cornelius Magoo |

followed instructions for install with Joomla 1.5 stable [seenu] admin.zip--failed install azrul.zip--OK (site access restricted when published) bot.zip--OK (front pages errors when published) com.zip--failed install have just purchased JomComment Pro & MyBlog Pro via JoomlaShack for a total of $80, not only do they not work (install on Joomla 1.5) but they "crash" my site when attempting to follow the above directions. i.e. enabling legacy mode for installation please, any thoughts or time frame for compatibilty with Joomla 1.5 stable release? thanx, MeanPony |
