I essentially need a comment system on all my free articles and on selected static items. Does Jom Comment support selected static content items (yet) as opposed to ALL or NONE?

Despite my concerns above i've bought Jom Comment and it works great!

For anyone who wondered, it can do single static content pages rather then ALL or NONE.

I think the thing that will have me eventually exchange this comment system for something else is the lack of available source code. As it is now I can't fix small issues myself. Is there a chance you'll change your source code policy?

hi to all users and testers smilies/smiley.gif I will be implementing a comment system on my site, but I do not like to have 'write comment and read more' (or language equivalents) links on my frontpage. Is it possible to turn this off from the admin panel or do we have to have these on the frontpage? thanks for your replies.

"I went to the mall and shopped until I dropped."

This sentence will be posted in its entirety. Below I will post again, replacing the word and with its symbol (ampersand).

If this text appears, then comment was not truncated at the ampersand.

sorry for these tests. In my jomComment 1.4.3 installation, comments are truncated wherever the "&" symbol is included.

That's not the case with this installation.

I suppose I should upgrade. smilies/wink.gif

The great thing about a mature open-source browser like Mozilla Firefox seems to me like the Auto-Updates feature.

The thought of "upgrading" involving either the uninstalling and clean installing of a component or overwriting files for Joomla itself actually puts me off.

Obviously I can appreciate that an auto-updates feature would take time to implement would raise the value of the product in my view so i'd like to see it in the future.

Esto es una prueba para saber como van los caracteres y los links en el componente de jom comment http://www.azrul.com/mambots/c..._front.gif pero al final hay que añadir mucho texto para que no diga que es un spam.
