Jom Comment has been updated to version 1.5.5. In this version, we have added one single major feature - support for 3rd party component. Now, any 3rd party component will be able to use Jom Comment to add a commenting feature within their component with just 2 lines of codes! Grab it from our download page.
Changes in this release. + fix: respect Joomla's time offset settings+ fix: backend display comments with wrong encoding + fix: Javascript no longer use onload event to avoid conflict + fix: better Javascript naming to avoid name conflict + fix: hide/show comment form image glitch + fix: username incorrectly pre-filled in cached page + fix: compatibility with PHP5 + add: support for 3rd party component!

Would love to see Community Builder integration as described above (with link to author profile, CB avatar, and 'latest comments' profile tab).. Also, a really nice touch would be the option to integrate JoomlaBoard or SMF smiley sets.. to help keep smileys consistent-looking sitewide where these popular components are used. (Not to mention, caching just one set of smileys in browsers). This would be great, since jomComment source code seems more difficult to modify than most. Nice product though. |

| There is a graphic covering the captcha? Tried to add a comment, but it was rejected on account of the wrong password. Now I can see all the letters. | |
