I have just uploaded Jom Comment 1.4.3. This release addresses some important issues, including support for Joomla 1.0.9. and JavaScript e-mail protection issues and a few other bug fix.

You can get this latest version by going to the download page

IP addresses are spoofed as a matter of course in professional spamming operations. IP blocking is only useful for blocking abuse individuals who just happen to have a static IP. "domain blocking" does that mean it will block domains typed by the user into the email and website fields? What forces users to be honest about what they put in there? What protections have you instituted on the actual comment field, where 97% of all spam occurs?
