Jom Comment 1.3 Released PDF Print E-mail

Hi everyone. I am happy to announce that Jom Comment 1.3 is now available. I have been working hard on this version and there have been numerous improvements. International, non-English characters are now better supported. As you can see from this site, we have also integrates “read more…” line within Jom Comment as well, instead of having it appear on a separate line.

 

  • New “Read More…” integrations. You can configure to have “read more…” link appear in the same line as Jom Comment’s “add comment”. You can apply “read more” in all content, site-wide.

  • New, statistics feature in admin panel. You can easily view which content is a favorite content and who are your most active users.

  • New custom date format support. You can format the displayed date in comments in almost any format imaginable.

  • New supports for IP address variables. You can use {ip} variable in the templates to show users’s originating IP address.

  • css data will be included only once in front page. This fixes a bug where the css data were inconsistently added if Joomla caching is turned on.

  • Fix bug where adding new comments fails if captcha is turned off.

  • Default templates now uses default button style.
